In 1971, he became the president of his family business. He did many business ventures, some went bankrupt, and some excelled. He was hosting a reality show from 2004 to 2015.

He licensed over 50 management deals under his name. They generate at least $59. Only 2 consumer goods were still under his name.  He licensed his name for the residential property in the 2000s. A lot of them were built, but 40 were never built.  Trump made a foundation for funding which got dissolved due to the allegation regarding tax and personal usage of funding.

Trump signed many executive orders when he took office, more than any other president on his first day.  He pardoned 1500 commutes and took actions that raised legal questions.  His actions are often seen as violating the law.
