Athiya Shetty is a former actor of Hindi Cinema. She was born in Bombay, Maharashtra, India In 1992, on November 5th. She is the daughter of famous Indian Actor, entrepreneur, and film producer Suniel Shetty. Her mother Mana Shetty is a director and her younger brother Ahan Shetty is also a rising actor. Her mother is a Gujarati speaker while her father belongs to the Bunt community.

Athiya Shetty took her early studies in Mumbai Maharashtra, from Cathedral and John Conon School and later shifted to the American School of Bombay. She then went to New York City to enroll herself at the New York Film Academy. as she wanted to act in films just like her father.
Acting Career
Athiya Shetty made her acting debut in the year 2015 in the movie Hero. It was a Nikhil Advani-directed romantic action film. It was a remake of co-producer Subhash Ghai‘s 1983 classic. The movie was Produced by Salman Khan and it was co-written by Advani and Umesh Bist. The movie is about a Mumbai-based aspiring dancer Radha Mathur, who falls in love with a man who is her abductor Sooraj. He is a gangster who is trying to extort IG Shrikant Mathu IG police chief her father. Athiya’s acting was panned by critics but the film earned ₹34.82 crore (US$4.1 million) a total revenue.
In 2017 after 2 years of the gap she appeared in the romantic comedy Mubarakan by Anees Bazmee.She was starred opposite Anil Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz. And Arjun Kapoor who performed the dual role. The shooting of this movie is done in Punjab and Landon. Mubarkan was a box office hit. It earned 93.59 crores. In 2018 she appeared in a song composed by Badshah The song, “Tere Naal Nachna“, featuring newbie singer Sunanda Sharma, for the film Nawabzaade. In the year, in 2019, She was cast as Anita “Ani” Awasthi. And a young woman who is desperate to settle abroad by marrying a Non-Resident Indian It is Debamitra Biswal’s comedy film Motichoor Chaknachoor, she starred opposite Nawaz Uddin Siddiqui.
Athiya Shetty won the Stardust Award for Best Jodi of the Year. She also won the International Indian Film Academy Awards for Hottest Pair both Shared with Sooraj Pancholi.
