Saif Ali Khan Pataudi is an Indian Actor and Filmmaker. He was born in New Delhi India 1970, on the 16th of August. He is the son of actress Sharmila Tagore and Indian cricketer captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.  His father was the son of the last ruling Nawab of Pataudi. He studied at The Lawrence School, Sanawar in Himachal Pradesh.  He later continued her studies at Lockers Park School in Hertfordshire. Next, he enrolled himself at Winchester College. Upon returning to India he joined an advertising company for 2 months in Delhi.

Career and 1st Marriage

After returning Saif Ali Khan in 1991 was cast in a movie Bekhudi but he was replaced due to his non-serious behavior. During the movie he met Amrita and married her in 1991 whom he had 2 children — later he got divorced in 2004.

He made his acting debut in the movie Parampara, movie failed to catch the audience. Later he appeared in s Aashiq Awara and Pehchaan which were flop. For his performance, he earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He then acted in Imtehan, a moderately successful movie. He then appeared in two of Yash Raj’s movies Yeh Dillagi and Main Khiladi Tu Anari, both were successful and he earned the Best Male Supporting Actor Award. His movies Yaar Gaddar, Aao Pyaar Karen, Surakshaa, Ek Tha Raja, Bambai Ka Babu, Tu Chor Main Sipahi, Dil Tera Diwana, Hameshaa, Udaan, Keemat: They Are Back, and Humse Badhkar Kaun  —- all of these movie were commercially unsuccessful. Critics perceived his career was over.

After 4 years of poor luck his movie Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan earned a little success, Kachche Dhaage was a commercial success Aarzoo, and Hum Saath-Saath Hain earned the gross earning of the year. Movie Kya Kehna was a sleeper hit, according to him, he can personally relate to this as he is also a single parent.

By 2005, Saif Ali Khan had made his name as a prominent actor in Hindi cinema with significant performances in Parineeta and Salaam Namaste. In Parineeta, he earned critical acclaim and a Filmfare Best Actor nomination. That same year, Salaam Namaste, the first Indian film shot entirely in Australia, became a global box office success. He was praised for his wit and nuanced performance. In 2006, Khan entered into English-language cinema with Being Cyrus, receiving praise for his dark and layered portrayal. His most celebrated Omkara, where he played a villain, earned numerous Best Villain awards and global recognition. This marked a turning point, showing his range and depth as an actor. Khan’s 2nd Marriage and Career Fluctuation

Saif Ali Khan and actress Kareena Kapoor tied the knot in 2012 in Mumbai, October 16, after a five-year courtship in a private ceremony. The couple has two sons, Taimur, and baby Jeh.

Saif Ali Khan starred in a movie Aarakshan, that explores cast-based reservations. The movie got mixed reviews, but his performance was praised. He then in 2012 produced 2 movies Agent Vinod that underperforming financially. The other one is Cocktail, in which he portrayed Gautam Kapoor, who earned positive reviews and commercial success. He appeared in Race 2, which was a success but later his 2 movies Bullet Raja and Humshakals were poorly received. He showed regret in performing Humshakals.

Other works

Saif Ali Khan went on many concert tours and hosted televised award shows. He performed alongside the band Parikrama and later he reunited with them and the Pakistani band Strings for The Royal Stag Mega Music Concert. It was a four-city concert tour two years later. He did multiple charity and attended multiple charity and dinners. He is taking care of his father’s eye hospital. In 2014 he was appointed as the Olympic Gold Quest brand ambassador and he donated ₹2 million (US$24,000) to the athletes.
